Overview
A property and asset operator was managing a large base of equipment and ongoing maintenance activity using paper forms and ad-hoc files kept in different places.
The challenge
Records were spread across paper and disconnected files, making it hard to know what assets existed, what condition they were in, or when maintenance was due. Information was easy to lose, slow to find, and difficult to report on, and maintenance tended to be reactive rather than planned.
